I ordered a few parts last week. I ordered from ITP diesel a steering column gauge mount, john wood valve body, and color matched paint.I also ordered a set of 3 autometer colbalt gauges(trans, boost, egts) from thoroughbred diesel including the pod for 307 shipped.  I recieved them on friday however autometer screwed up and sent them a f150 pod in the f250 box so in turn they sent me the wrong part. And then best of all i ordered my dp tuner on friday. I ordered from from itp diesel tuesday and recieved the package in 2 days. I flushed my tranny today installed the vb and changed the filter and just got back from taking it for a drive. I tell you what..... my trans feels like a whole new machine now.  I installed all of the hook ups and wires to run the gauges just waiting on the right pod to come in now.

With my dp tuner i got:

-no-start, stock, 60hp tow, 80hp econ, 120hp race, and 140hp aggressive

I ordered it with the f5 black face, silver bezel (with blue led to match my colbalts) gauge selector that i will mount into the steering column pod for a clean look. I cant wait.

Nice! I like the looks of the cobalt gauges, and mounting the DP in a pod is a nice clean install, your truck will feel like a different animal.

So you have a whole new truck now. I've heard nothing but good stuff about JW modified parts, & Jody is the man when it comes to tunes.

Not sure yet Danny. I need to put some more miles. It does take longer to get the oil heated up, & it cools faster too. The truck runs smoother now & feels like it pulls harder up top, but a little more seat time will tell me for sure what's going on. At least there is no more fuel waterfall from the drivers head.

ben are you going to be running it in arizona ?
did you ever put your BB turbo back on or are you still running the stocker ? and if so, now that you've got the oil temp under control, have you thought about putting the a/m turbo back on ?

I won't be in AZ. Wish I could make it, but not this year.
I'm not going to put the BB turbo back on. It really doesn't offer anything over stock, other than it doesn't surge. For now I'll keep the stocker, maybe in the future I'll put in a Garrett 38r, but not for a while. The oil is better but still not where I'd like it to be. I'm going to make a few changes to the oil cooler lines tonight (maybe) & see how it runs.

well now that you got it repaired do you think you maybe could put the BB back on and see if it makes more of a difference than it did before ??

is it possible that you weren't seeing the full benefit of the bigger turbo because of the issues you were having ??

That TN BB turbo specs out as a larger turbo, but the compressor wheel flows so little air that in reality, it is no better than stock. The stock turbo is much more reliable, so really the stock one is a better turbo.
Turbonetics was really dishonest to sell that polished crap, and I was a fool to buy it.

Live & learn I guess :(
