this tranny only lasted about 2 months !!

it's done for. started shifting funny, then locked up.

it feels like a trans-brake, when i take it out of park it feels like it is engaging forward and reverse at the same time, or several different forward gears at the same time..

imagine trying to take off from a start with the truck in 5th gear and towing a trailer loaded to max gvwr.. yeah

all it does is strain really hard and torque over the frame and smoke like crazy and make a lot of heat, but it doesn't go anywhere..

:(

yeah cause dodge is so capable !!
my buddy daniel from mercedes came over tonight, and he said he thinks a seal went bad allowing fluid to engage more than one clutch pack at a time.

Danny have you taken it back to the tranny builder to see what he has to say.  Mabey he will take care of it.

i had it towed there this morning, code says it's a shift solenoid, and he thinks it was just allowing it to shift down and it stayed in high gear, but i don't know if that's all, it was definitely "locking" up and i think it caused some damage when it was moving like that
